Mine is mostly the st...That is an enviable commute. Mine is mostly the stuff of the urbs and exurbs--subway tunnels followed by rail lines going through acres of station-side parking lots. But between the subway tunnels of two cities is a 20-story rise over the Delaware River. It is still tidal there and I always look down to see if we have the mud flats of low tide or the lapping-at-shore-brush of high tide.
